MailChimp Best Email Marketing for Newbie and Small Business
MailChimp is a Web-based email marketing service that comes with a great suite of tools. One of the most important things to know is the service is you can get completely free if you are mailing less than 12,000 emails per month to less than 2000 email accounts. This “forever free” option does not give you access to all of the features and it does leave a MailChimp icon embedded in your newsletters. That seems a small “price” to pay for free. For newbie it is oKe..
MailChimp started in 2001 with a traditional email marketing service. In 2009, they moved to using a freemium model to promote their service. With this free model, MailChimp made a name for themselves as one of the premier email marketing services in the industry. At the time most companies assume that MailChimp’s freemium model makes it a useful tool for new businesses.
I’m using MailChimp for my website. I chose mailchimp because it has the features I liked with flexible payment options. The big thing for me was the ability to create emails the way I want to – you can code your own, work out of templates, or use the drag and drop editor. You can create emails outside of and email program and paste it in. Even though MailChimp has a free plan, but it is good to spent $10 on its smallest monthly plan to get a complete feel for the premium templates, reports, analytics, and other marketing tools. I found MailChimp quite easy to work with, as a newbie I not want to confusing with their pricing plans. For me and I think for a newbie and Small business owner MailChimp is a good choice for email marketing tools and they have an excellent starter service, one that’s easy to use even if you are still learning how email marketing works. If you need more advanced features, I recommend checking out their servicess and it is free.
MailChimp provides some great resources and it can be helping you minimize the learning curve and get you on your way to creating effective campaigns. Some of these resources include helpful videos to get you familiar with their interface and several free eBooks that provide practical advice about getting the most out of your email marketing campaign. MailChimp Guides are also useful, as they cover some topics like transactional emails, mobile devices, managing lists, and many other relevant email marketing.
MailChimp reports use interactive graphs, enabling you to easily view activity associated with your emails. Reports reveal open and click rates, opens by location, bounces, unsubscribes, and more. The reports even enable you to compare your rates against other email marketers in a similar industry. MailChimp integrates with Google Analytics, which provides additional insight into your campaigns so you can see how much revenue your campaigns are creating. All of these tracking and reporting tools positively influence your ability to create effective email marketing campaigns and better reach the right types of customers.
